on august 25, 2011, the national certification and accreditation commission and the ministry of industry and information technology jointly determined and issued the implementation rules of the national unified voluntary certification for pollution control of electronic information products and the catalogue of the national unified voluntary certification for pollution control of electronic information products (the first batch).

the suppliers of electrical and electronic products included in the standard management catalogue shall choose the national voluntary certification or self declaration method to complete the conformity assessment on the restricted use of hazardous substances of electrical and electronic products.
